I painted this impressionistic reflection piece primarily using a palette knife. This painting is 36″x48″ acrylic on canvas. I personally stretch each of my canvases by hand. It is a gallery wrapped canvas with the 1 1/2″ deep edges painting dark. The wire hanger at the back makes the piece easy to hang, and it hangs flush with the wall. No framing is necessary. This piece features the evening reflection of a fading blue sky behind a line of trees. It was inspired by the inner banks of North Carolina.
