I painted this impressionistic landscape primarily using a palette knife. This painting is 18″x24″ acrylic on canvas. I personally stretch each of my canvases by hand. It is a gallery wrapped canvas with the 1 1/2″ deep edges painting dark. The wire hanger at the back makes the piece easy to hang, and it hangs flush with the wall. No framing is necessary. This landscape features the sunrise behind a grove of trees with a field of crimson flowers in the foreground. These warm colors give a true sense of late summer and all of the joys that come with the season.
